Knitting Genius

When I started pharmacy school, my Aunt DeeAnne taught me how to knit.  During school and my residency, I perfected the traditional scarf.  The habit took a back seat as I grew busier and busier.  To re-learn my lost skill, I’ve been taking a knitting class at a local knit shop (Mass Ave Knit Shop).  We started out with a “small project”, a scarf, hat, and mittens.  My masterpieces are shown below.

After the scarf, Susan (my knitting mentor) started us on a “simple sweater”.  This was in March and I JUST FINISHED.  This was my EVEREST.  It took me FOREVER to complete.  All in all, I think it looks classy…like a lady.

After finishing the sweater, I started working on a scarf.  This is a cable scarf and I’m making some for Christmas.  I’m also working on another scarf, but I have to wait until class on Monday for Susan to fix my scarf…
